This advanced program intends to challenge the usual business models in the luxury business, focusing on value creation through engagement and commitment, and the changing role of artisanal mastery. It reflects the evolving challenges the world of luxury is facing today and addresses the growing demands of its consumers.

The world of luxury is entering a new era—one where craftsmanship, sustainability, and innovation converge to create deeper meaning and lasting value. This comprehensive course explores the evolving boundaries of luxury, where artisanal mastery meets ethical commitment and technology. Together, these dimensions define the "New Luxury" that resonates with today’s discerning consumers who are demanding more than just exceptional objects — they crave authenticity, sustainability, and a deeper meaning behind the brands they support. This new advanced program is designed to equip participants with the insights, sensitivity and tools to meet those demands. It is based on two essential pillars: 

(1) The essence of creative excellence and artisanal mastery, and 

(2) A business vision that challenges existing business models to propose ethical solutions and embrace technology.

Learning Objectives

Upon successful completion of the program participants will be equipped to:

Assessment

All participants are expected to be in class, come with questions and participate in group discussions and workshops.

Grading will be determined according to the following factors: Presence & Participation, Individual Assignments, Group Project.

Participants will work throughout the program on a team project. This provides the opportunity to apply the learnings from the classroom to a real-life product or service idea. All projects are presented for peer review at the end of the program.

 

Participants who successfully complete the program will earn 5 ECTS credits. Full attendance is required to obtain the Program Certificate.

All students who are seeking credit are encouraged to consult their home academic institution to validate credit transfer.
