Prestigious lunch appointments for our scholarship students

Last month, three of Fondation HEC’s Grand Donors returned to the HEC Paris campus to meet the students they have supported financially over the past two years.

" It’s a real pleasure for us to see these young people grow and blossom, to see how the experience of studying here has opened their minds, and to find out about their projects for the future. "
Hélène Peters, Major Donor of the HEC Foundation

On 26 February and 5 March, Essia, Daniel, Emma, Mehdi, Antoine, Louise, Arij, Thomas, Souheila, Mathilde and Vincent were invited to lunch with Jean-Luc Bélingard and Jean and Hélène Peters at the Château, HEC Paris.

An inter-generational meeting of minds at which the donors were able to observe the progress made by the students at HEC.
It was also an opportunity for the students to pick up some valuable advice from the donors regarding their future careers.

" It really is just a joy to see how well-equipped these young people are to make a bright start in life. "

Jean-Luc Bélingard, Major Donor of the HEC Foundation

" I have met some truly inspiring people in the course of my career. Today I feel it is my duty to extend this dynamic. By contributing to the development of foundations in which we believe, we get to meet some extraordinary people. By offering my support, I hope that I in turn can inspire the younger generations.. "
Jean Peters (H.66), Major Donor of the HEC Foundation

Of course our students are always aware that the financial support they receive is made possible by the generosity of our donors, but it’s always interesting for the two to meet so that all concerned can really appreciate the impact of HEC’s programs to increase diversity, and the importance of continuing to promote equal opportunities.

The HEC Foundation supports numerous projects which contribute to the school’s development. Many of our donors request that their donations be used to provide scholarships for students.
In 2019, the Foundation devoted over €5 million to projects encouraging high school students to take up long courses of study in higher education, helping talented students in preparatory classes, making HEC Paris accessible to all pupils with the academic potential to excel here, and attracting the best international talent.
