Biographie
Frédéric Koessler est directeur de recherche au CNRS. Il est chercheur CNRS au GREGHEC et professeur au département d'économie et sciences de la décision d'HEC Paris depuis 2022. Il a soutenu sa thèse de sciences économiques à l'université de Strasbourg en 2001. Avant de rejoindre HEC, il a été chercheur et enseignant à l'université de Cergy-Pontoise, chercheur invité à l'université hébraïque de Jérusalem, puis chercheur et professeur à l'Ecole d'Economie de Paris.
Ses travaux de recherche portent sur l'économie de l'information et la théorie des jeux, notamment sur la révélation stratégique d'information, la persuasion, la théorie des mécanismes incitatifs, et la théorie des jeux comportementale. Les résultats de ses travaux sont publiés dans des revues scientifiques internationales de premier plan telles que Econometrica, Journal of Political Economy, Review of Economic Studies, Rand Journal of Economics, Journal of Economic Theory, Theoretical Economics, Mathematics of Operation Research, Games and Economic Behavior. Ses travaux de recherche sur la théorie économique ont été récompensés par la médaille de bronze du CNRS en 2010.
Frédéric Koessler est actuellement éditeur associé pour Games and Economic Behavior et Annals of Economics and Statistics. Il est coordinateur du projet ANR StratCom (2019-2024) et co-responsable du groupement de recherche CNRS "Théorie des Jeux : Modélisation Mathématique et Applications" (2015–2025).
